4 alarms were struck for these buildings. 4 firefighters arrived on this scene (only ones on duty) to find heavy fire showing from the basement of the 1st building. They attempted to make an aggressive attack but had to withdraw due to the heavy fire conditions.
The fire did extend into the the 3-decker on the D side but firefighters were able to keep it from destroying the building. Mutual aid came from area departments.
