1st, thank you Harrisburg Fire for the hospitality you showed us.
Harrisburg is a City of 50k population, 12k square miles protected by 2 Engines 2 trucks and a Squad/Engine with 14 ff's on duty. The City at one time burned a lot. The fire potential is still extremely high here.
We got to visit 2 firehouse where we hooked up with Jeff "Skull" Miller. Jeff is a senior man with Squad 8. After going to the firehouse, we went training with the companies where they worked on ropes and rescue of victim down a hill. After that Squad 8 took us around and gave us a tour of the City. So here is our day and what we saw.
