Firefighters arrived on Montesian Dr to find this one-story private dwelling fully involved on the front of the home. On arrival they went to the deck gun and a 2 1/2 to knock down the heavy fire.
At least 2 cats and a dog were rescued from the fire. Fitchburg had the fire knocked down within 15 minutes. The fire remains under investigation but appears to have started by a cigarette in a bucket out on the porch.
