I took a ride to see this brush fire. On arrival there was just a lot of light smoke in the area. Then the high grass got going due to the wind and really started to take off. The train had passed through the area and started the fires along the railroad tracks. I moved down to another area prior to Engine 8 (brush truck) An area was going with good fire but as Engine 8 pulled in the fire appeared to be out. When the Engine 2 crew stretched the line I started to walk that way and at that moment the wind picked up and the fire intensified rather quickly moving towards my direction. I quickly backed up back towards Engine 8 as the fire flared up like a wall. Just after that the wind changed again and fire dropped back to the ground and appeared to be out. The shots show how close the fire came to the brush truck.
