Gardner firefighters received a call for smoke coming from the windows on Deer Hill Rd. On arrival they struck a 2nd alarm for a fire in a 2 story single family home. Heavy fire was out the back of the home and crews quickly stetched to the rear to knock down the bulk of the fire.<p> The Towns of Templeton and Westminster sent Engines to the fire. The cause of the fire is unknown.
