Just after 1500 hrs Fitchburg fire got a call for a house fire on Abbott Ave. Police arrived on scene first with fire showing. As companies arrived heavy smoke and fire were showing and an occupant was removed from the home. The woman also had oxygen in the home. She was being treated on scene by EMS. The fire was quickly knocked down.
