This vacant building which I have showed in older galleries is always worth the stop. The building is 3,500,000 square foot facility is about the size of 10 city blocks.
Packard was an American luxury automobile marque built by the Packard Motor Car Company of Detroit, Michigan, and later by the Studebaker-Packard Corporation of South Bend, Indiana. The first Packard automobiles were produced in 1899 and the last in 1958 and since has been vacant.
Numerous fires have been started in this facility and the City has been looking for someone that may still have ownership of this building to make them responsible for tearing it down.
