**All photos by Mike LaPrade**Mike and I left our house when the companies arrived with smoke showing. The working fire and 2nd alarm went out while driving to the fire which is bout 1 mile from my house. My group was being recalled to work so I told Mike Im dropping you off and will see you soon. So I dropped Mike at the fire, and went into work and then off to the fire on the Heavy Rescue. The fire was on the 2nd and 3rd floor and companies had to be pulled out twice for exterior attacks. Mutual aid came to the scene from Sterling, Fitchburg and Clinton. Lunenburg, Gardner, Lancaster and Westminster covered the City. At one point their were some water pressure problems. One Ff was transported after the fire to the hospital for a minor back injury. 12 people were displaced from the fire. The building had to be taken down.
