A fast moving fire consumed this family owned Dairy Farm on Brockleman Rd. On arrival heavy fire was showing from the structure. Firefighters from 23 towns battled this blaze.
The fire began around 1pm and was under control after 3pm.
Heavy black smoke was visible from over 15 miles away. Acting Chief Michael Hanson said the 1 1/2 story barn and adjoining over hang were a total loss. Due to the aggressive firefighting, they were able to keep it from spreading to other nearby buildings.
The fire was able to get out of control due to the low water supply in the area. Hydrant lines were being laid from miles away as to supplying water from an area pond.
The business was open at the time of the fire, and none of the animals were harmed. Crews remained on scene till about 8:30pm. No injuries were reported.

Great pic. Y'all keep it up from tx.
Great job documenting the firefighters in action. Hopefully the owners can rebuild quickly to keep the business going. Best wishes!
