This fire was just off the corner of Gratiot and Faircrest St. Engine 50 Ladder 23 arrived with heavy smoke and fire showing from this vacant dwelling. Myself, Paul Larochelle (Worcester Engine 11) and Mikey arrived within minutes behind the 1st due companies. Detroit jakes made an aggressive interior attack but were pulled out due to the fast moving fire. Engine 50 and 60 then used there monitors to knock down the intense fire.

Excellent article! I found myself nodding in agreement the entire time because of the way you organized your points, which made it very simple to follow. Such comprehensive and succinct content is hard to come by. I'll be watching for more posts from you.
