Springfield Firefighters were dispatched to a possible structure fire at 107-109 Johnson St. First arriving companies reported smoke from the chimney. As companies began to investigate smoke began coming from the B side basement windows and the Working Fire was put out as a basement fire in a 2 1/2 story woodframe. Companies made an aggressive attack and the fire was quickly brought under control.
