On October 21st , Boston firefighters from Engine 42, Rescue 2, Ladder 30 (disbanded) and District 9 had a gathering for past and present firefighters to say goodbye to their firehouse. The house is slated to be demolished to make room for a new 2-story 3 bay firehouse. Retired firefighters stopped in to share stories and laughs and look at old photos from years gone by. It was a great day with food, coffee (a firehouse staple) and good weather followed by lots of laughs amongst friends and years gone by.
