Fitchburg Fire started getting calls for a fire on Blossom St. On arrival, heavy fire was shooting up the the C and D side of the 3 1/2 story dwelling. The occupant of the apartment which was burned was transported to UMass hospital with burns. By seeing the nasal canular on the ground, the occpuant may have been smoking while on oxygen.
The fire was quickly contained. Leominster Fire sent an Engine and Ladder to the fire.
